Ram navami is one of the most important Hindu festival of India. It falls in the

ninth day of Shukla paksha of Chaitra masa. The tithi denotes the last day of

Chaitra Navratri.

This festival celebrates the victory of dharma over Adharma.

It is believed that Lord Vishnu was born on the earth as Ramachandra,son of King

Dasharatha. Rama ,the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu, end off the atrocities created by

the invincible Demon king Ravan .

He was the epitome of truth, justice and humanity(purusottama).
