PITRU DOSH and REMEDY–

 

We should first understand what Pitru dosh is.The name  “pitru” means father or Pita .

Pitru dosh is not exactly about Father ,rather it is about our ancestors or forefathers.

When our forefathers are not satisfied or  unhappy and they have not taken rebirth somewhere or enter into pret yoni ,due to dissatisfaction they create pitru dosh .

Is pitriloka exist?some of treaties mentioned about the existence of pitruloka.

 

1.Sidhhant shiromani- Goladhya ,shloka 13 ,14

2.Surya siddhanta,sloka 14

3.Brahma sphuta siddhanta,shloka 25

4.Bateshwar sidhhant,shloka 4

In these treatises they believe that pitriloka is there.

 

In Vedic Jyotish Shashtra,like BPHS,Jataka Parijata,Prashna marga,Jataka Ratna, Jataka Tatwa,they mentioned Pitri dosh.

In a horoscope generally 12 th house,lagna ,second house ,5th and 6th houses ,8th,9than d10th houses are related with Pitri dosh. 

Planets like Sun,Moon,Jupiter,Saturn ,Rahu and ketu  are responsible to create pitru dosh.

Moon sign like Aries ,Cancer,Leo,Scorpio,Sagittarius,Capricorn ,Aquarius and Pieces creates pitru dosh.(1,4,5,8,9,10,11,12)

The odd signs  like (1,5,9,11)Aries,Leo,Sagittarius and Aquarius sign indicate male forefathers and even number signs like(4,8,10,12) cancer,Scorpio,Capricorn,and Pisces indicate female ancestors that create pitru dosh.

The astrological cause to form a pitru dosh in horoscopes are many,we will discuss some very important cause today.

 

Starting from ascendant we see when ascendant is weak or lord of the ascendant is weak or hemmed within pap kartari yoga,

 

When sun is debilitated in 5th house 

When 5th house or sun hemmed within pap kartari yoga,

Jupiter and Rahu conjunct in 5 th or 6th or 10th house,

Sun and Rahu conjunct in 5th house,in such condition pitri dosh create in a horoscope by male ancestors.

 

Moon and saturn conjunction,

Moon hemmed within pap kartari yoga,

Moon conjunct with Rahu,

Moon  with Saturn in 5th house andMars and Rahu in Ascendant 

Then Pitru dosh is formed by female ancestors.

 

Jupiter conjunct with saturn or Rahu or Ketu in eighth house, and lord of the 5th house and 7th house also in eighth house ,then pitru dosh formed by Life partner.

In Garuda puran ,Lord Vishnu said to garuda that to please our ancestors we

Must do shrardha for them in the particular tithi when they died .This shrardha should be done in Shrardha paksh. That 15 days come just before Sharadeeya navaratri.

 

Beside  doing sharardha on the tithi of parents demise ,one can do some remedy that decrease the bad impact of pitru dosh.

1.worship your kul devi or kul devta daily

2.Chant PITRU GAYATRI MANTRA daily and bow your ancestors
